ALL ABOUT MANAGER FÜR MENSCHEN

Manager für Menschen was founded in 2011 after own social sabbatical experiences in Tanzania.

Since that time we recruit and place professionals and managers as interim advisors in social projects and enterprises and offer socially involved and interested people the chance to integrate a ‘social sabbatical’ into their active professional life.

Our headquarter is in Stuttgart, but we support and counsel you anywhere in the world.

To us it is important that you feel in good hands from the beginning of our collaboration.
And very often, it turns out that interim advisors and clients become friends and that project organizations, social enterprises and Manager für Menschen become long-term partners.

All our team members have a background in the economic sector and have either experienced a ‘social sabbatical’ themselves, have worked in overseas development or are counselors.

Founder and Manager

I am Elke – the founder and owner!
I was born in 1973, I am a trained hotel manager, graduate in business administration (FH), certified intercultural trainer and certified eTrainer. I studied in Germany, USA and France and then took on various management positions in the mail order and sanitary industry. In 2009, I decided to take a 12-month sabbatical and spent 7 months as an interim advisor in Tanzania in a development cooperation project.

So I know both sides – the side and needs of the manager, but also the needs of the social projects. With the idea of Manager für Menschen, I combine social commitment with my travelling and interest in foreign cultures. And I would like to support interested people in realising their life-time adventure.

Consultant for social involvement and coach

Born in 1961, qualified social economist (Univ.), certified coach, Gestalt therapist and systemic organisational consultant as well as 20 years of professional experience in various positions and industries – this is Gerda!

As an expert at the „turning points in life“ and for the „Zeitenwende® im Unternehmen“, Gerda accompanies private individuals in personal phases of upheaval and supports companies and their managers in developing future competences for a working world in transition.

Gerda is your local contact in Munich.

As a coach and advisor, she offers guidance in determining one’s private or professional position and provides security in dealing with uncertainties that can arise prior to a sabbatical or after returning from an assignment as an interim advisor.

Sparring partner for new interim advisors

Already during their assignment, the interim advisors share their experiences and adventures with us in small blog posts. This not only makes people curious about a social sabbatical, but also makes it more tangible for interested parties.

Back in Germany, the alumni represents Manager für Menschen at events and workshops.

However, the most important task is to provide advice and support to new interim advisors in general preparation and with individual questions.

Then after all, who could better give information on a country, a project or how to deal with every day challenges than someone who has been there him- or herself?
